Too dim! Brutal effect

I would have loved to give a positive review but they are so dim the light travels for 3 inches and falls into nothingness. The concept is great but it is so dull you cant tell you have lights on! Maybe if they were more directional?
The App worked fine with it just not enough illumination Im afraid.....getting returned. Back to the drawing board folks.
